40 of Australia's finest recording artists have been invited to contribute their cherished recordings in this generation spanning collection of Australian history.

The iconic cover pays tribute to Sir Sidney Nolan's 'Ned Kelly' (1946).

It is an original work by acclaimed Australian artist Rolf Harris and was commissioned specifically for The Great Australian Songbook.

This landmark set of recordings will bring great joy to many Australians both in Australia and around the world. It's a lovingly compiled celebration of our music.
