LMFAO has received two American Music Awards nominations for "Sprint New Artist of the Year" and "Pop or Rock Music: Favorite Band, Duo or Group."  The 39th Annual American Music Awards will be broadcast live on ABC on November 20 from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.   

The GRAMMY® nominated electro hip-hop duo LMFAO are celebrating a successful 2011. Their sophomore album “Sorry For Party Rocking” is currently sitting at #3 on the Itunes Chart in Australia and has produced the hit single “Sexy & I Know It” which is #1 on the ARIA chart this week. According to Billboard, the new single from the album “Party Rock Anthem” is the official #1 song of the summer. “Party Rock Anthem” has seen over 200 million views on VEVO. The Ohio University Marching band has even filmed their performance of this song and the resulting video has gone viral.

The group also recently took home the Australian Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song and received two MTV European Music Award nominations. They will be performing at the MTV EMAs which will be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Sunday, November 6.
