Classical boyband Blake top the Australian Classical Chart
Rating: 21/4/2010
2010 is looking to be an immense year for the ‘classical Fab Four’. Classical group BLAKE, who are nominated for Album of The Year at the 2010 Classical BRITs in May, have now topped the Australian ARIA Classical Music Chart with their third album Together.
The group’s Jules Knight commented this morning – ''Blake is absolutely thrilled to have hit number one in the Australian Classical Chart today. As an independent label, it’s a historic moment and the result of some really hard work. It just goes to show what can be achieved when the underdogs come out fighting”.
Since debuting their current album Together at #1 on the UK Charts last year, the boys have been touring internationally, including the US and Denmark.
