Laibach's Original Soundtrack for ‘Iron Sky’ Out April 27th

LAIBACH ‘IRON SKY’ ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK 27 APRIL
WE COME IN PEACE: LAIBACH release the soundtrack to IRON SKY, one of 2012’s most anticipated film releases, on Mute on 27 April 2012 and to coincide, announce a series of European dates that included the prestigious sold out Tate Modern Turbine Hall plus the release of An Introduction To… Laibach / Reproduction Prohibited, out on Mute midyear 2012. The live dates will include music written by Laibach from IRON SKY (directed by Timo Vuorensola), a dark science fiction comedy about Nazis invading earth in 2018, after escaping to the Dark Side of the Moon in 1945, due out in Australian cinemas May 10. The film, whose premiere was one of the hottest tickets at the Berlin International Film Festival, was inspired in part by Laibach, specifically 2006’s VOLK, a collection of interpretations of national anthems that includes America, which features in the film’s soundtrack.
