44/876

The upcoming album 44 / 876 is a collaboration between British icon STING and Reggae/Dancehall star SHAGGY. An island inspired collection of songs recorded in Jamaica and New York, it marks Sting's return to his early love of reggae which shaped his Police and solo career. For 44/876 Sting returned to GoldenEye in Jamaica, the location where he wrote his massive hits 'Every Breath You Take,' 'King of Pain,' and 'Wrapped Around Your Finger' and was brought together with Shaggy via Martin Kierszenbaum. The two worked on 'Don't Make Me Wait' together as a lark. The chemistry worked and now we have an album of island-inspired, reggae pop music!
